You might be wondering what is the connection between Pilates and chocolate. Hi, my name is Kathleen Pagnini and I want to share with you my story about how you can experience a deep and satisfying workout and bring balance and control into every aspect of your life! With my new DVD, "Pilates and Chocolate", I'm going to teach you my personal techniques and secrets I've learned over the last 30 years that will create a stronger body, mind and spirit for you! Quite simply, I absolutely love chocolate! Pilates and Chocolate is about you! I am now almost 50 and entering the best years of my life! During my last 30 years as a fitness professional, I've experienced life's highs and lows. I experienced the highs of falling in love and marriage and having a wonderful son. I've also experienced the lows of divorce and a few failed relationships. During my lows I found myself turning to compulsive things like over eating and mood swings. At one point I had put on over 20 pounds and was feeling like a failure in life. That's when I knew I had to make a change in my body, mind and spirit. I had to take control! I was desperate to find a new way of life, something that would bring happiness back into my life and make me feel special again. That's when I started practicing the Pilates technique. I finally learned to move my body in exercises that were working for me even when I wasn't doing Pilates. I quickly learned that to use this technique in everything I did from sitting at a desk to playing golf to picking up a bag of groceries to simply eating a piece of chocolate! If I could change then you can too! I now have control and balance in my life and adjusted my eating habits and no longer have those uncontrollable cravings. I also now find time for other things in my life since I have made Pilates part of my everyday routine and don't have to spend time focusing on those long and intensive workout sessions. The bottom line is I'm more relaxed and calm and more aware of my inner feelings as well as the influencing things outside of me. My techniques have taught me to accept a new behavior and correct the things I can and not to worry about things that are out of my control. What I've learned and what you can too in my DVD is that behavior change must start with a commitment to change.
